PUBG Europe League is the forthcoming esports event in PUBG game. All the PUBG esports fans can now check out PUBG Europe League (known as PEL for short) and have an understanding of the teams as well as the timing of the PEL when the first stage of the contest draws near.

Definition of PEL

PUBG Corp. and StarLadder are the main organizer of PUBG Europe League (PEL), which is the top-tier profession PUBG esports league in Europe. PEL is divided into three elements, including PEL, PEL Contenders, and PEL Open. Each of them has its own characteristic! To be more specific, PEL is known as home to 16 of Europe’s best PUBG teams, while PEL Contenders is the second division made up of 32 excellent teams, and PEL Open will be used for the amateurs to join the European pro scene.

There are 6 invited teams in PEL Phase 1 Kick-Off. Thanks to their interesting performances in former PUBG tournaments, they were selected for this event. In addition, there will be other 10 chosen teams that already successfully survived the PEL qualifiers. The image below shows the full list of the PEL Phase 1 Kick-Off.

Phase 1 Kick-Off lasts only 3 weeks, however, for the subsequent PEL stages, they will extend up to 8 weeks. The teams partaking in Phase 2 and Phase 3 will vie for PEL points to secure their seats in the international tournaments which will be taken place at the conclusion of every phase. The teams that got the best results in all three stages will be able to compete at the PUBG Global Championship.

PEL Relegation System

After the three-week phase, PEL will not receive any further teams, and there will also be no teams leaving PEL due to the shortness of Phase 1 Kick-Off. The rules of promotion and relegation will be officially applied for the beginning of Phase 2. PEL Promo will be the playing ground for the four lowest-ranked teams in Phase 2 and 3. They will compete against other the 12 best PEL Contender teams. About the top four teams from the PEL Promo tournament, they will engage in the PEL in the next Phase, and the rest teams will be decreased their ranks to the PEL Contenders.
